In short

A dress left hanging in the hotel wardrobe, a passport on the kitchen table, a laptop on a train: we collect the item where it is and bring it to you, even 600 kilometres away. One driver, nothing else in the vehicle, departure within 30 to 60 minutes, 24/7.

Why a dedicated vehicle for this type of goods

It is the most ordinary and the most stressful situation: you have arrived, and the item stayed behind. Hotel reception will keep it but will not send it; the station lost property office opens at impossible hours; posting it takes three days and you need it tomorrow morning. Nobody in express transport handles this — because it is not a shipment, it is your personal belonging.

A taxi does. We report to reception, to the lost property office or to whoever is holding the item, collect it with your written authorisation, and drive to you. You get a photo as soon as it is picked up, and a second one on handover. It is often settled within the day, and always cheaper than the return trip you would make yourself.

What we are asked to retrieve

Rarely a parcel, almost always a personal item you need right now.

A garment left at a hotel

Dress, suit or coat left in the wardrobe or at the hotel's dry cleaner. We collect it at reception and carry it on a hanger, without a crease.

A document or a passport

Identity papers, a file or a notarised deed left at home or at the office. Someone lets us in and we bring them to you the same day.

A laptop or a phone

Work equipment left on a train, in a taxi or in a meeting room. We go to the lost property office with your declaration.

Medication

Medicines, a prescription or a medical device left at home while you are travelling. Priority handling, including at night.

Keys

House, car or office keys. We collect them from the person you designate and hand them to you in person.

Something at a relative's place

It is not always forgotten: sometimes the item is simply at your parents', a friend's or your holiday home. We go and get it.

How it works

You tell us where it is

The name of the hotel, station or person holding the item, and where you are.

You confirm it is really there

A call from you to the establishment avoids a pointless trip.

You authorise us in writing

A WhatsApp message with your ID is enough in most cases.

We collect it and deliver to you

Photo at pick-up, photo at handover, your item in your hands.

Where we go to fetch your item

Anywhere someone can hand it over. The place matters less than the authorisation.

Hotels

Reception, luggage room, dry cleaner. We present your name, the dates of stay and your written authorisation.

Stations and airports

Rail and Paris airport lost property offices. A declaration number is usually required.

Home and office

At your place, a relative's, your caretaker's or your workplace, as long as someone can let us in.

Restaurants and public venues

Gyms, theatres, meeting rooms, medical practices: anywhere the item has been set aside for you.

Shops and workshops

Tailor, cobbler, dry cleaner, repair shop: the item is ready but you are no longer there.

Another taxi or ride-hail

Item left in a vehicle: if the driver has set it aside, we arrange collection with them.

Estimate calculated on the taxi kilometre rate (€30 pick-up charge, then €2.63/km beyond 10 km), using the Google Maps road distance. This is an indicative price, not a fixed price: the approved taximeter prevails during the journey. Tolls, tunnels, sea crossings, waiting time and customs formalities are confirmed with the quote.

Frequently asked questions — Forgotten item

I left something at a hotel, can you go and get it?
Yes, it is the most common case. Call the hotel to confirm they have the item and will release it to a third party, then send us by WhatsApp your name, the dates of stay, the room number if you have it and a written authorisation. The driver reports to reception and sends you a photo on handover.
What does it cost to have a forgotten item collected?
The price follows the taxi kilometre rate: a €30 pick-up charge, then €2.63/km over the distance actually driven. A collection within Paris with delivery in Île-de-France starts at a few tens of euros; a Paris–Lyon run costs €1,227. The calculator above prices your exact case.
What do you need in order to collect the item for me?
Three things: the exact location and the name of whoever holds the item, a copy of your ID, and a written authorisation from you — a WhatsApp message is usually enough. Some establishments require a more formal power of attorney: we tell you before setting off.
Is it faster than posting it or using a parcel service?
Considerably. Posting assumes someone packs the item, goes to the post office and sends it: two to five days in total. We leave within the hour and deliver the same day in Île-de-France, or overnight to the regions. And nothing goes through a sorting platform.
Can you collect something in the regions and bring it to me in Paris?
Yes, in both directions. We collect the item from your holiday home, your parents' place or the hotel where you stayed, anywhere in France and Europe, and hand it to you at your Paris address.
What if the item is at a lost property office?
It is possible, but these offices have strict rules: declaration number, the owner's ID and sometimes the owner's physical presence. Check their conditions before instructing us — it will save you a pointless trip.
Do you operate at night and at weekends?
Yes, 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. Many of these requests come in the evening, when someone realises what they left behind once home. If the place is closed, we agree together on a time the next morning.
What if the item has gone missing on site?
The driver calls you immediately and does not start a pointless journey. Only the trip actually made is invoiced. That is why we always ask you to confirm by phone, before departure, that the item is really there.
Do you carry valuable items?
Yes: jewellery, watches, laptops, cameras. The item stays in the driver's sole custody, never left unattended in the vehicle. For a high value, tell us: we adapt the transport and insurance conditions.
Can I have an item collected on someone else's behalf?
Yes, provided whoever holds the item agrees to release it and the recipient is clearly identified. We hand the item over only to the named person, with a time-stamped photo as proof.
What if nobody can receive it on arrival?
The driver calls you before arriving. Depending on your instruction, they wait on site at the prefecture hourly rate, hand the goods to a person you designate, leave them at a secure reception or return with them. Nothing is ever left without your approval, and the return trip is only invoiced if it takes place.

What a taxi carries — and what it does not

We are a prefecture-licensed taxi service, not a freight company. Saying so plainly saves you a pointless call, and saves us accepting a job we could not honour.

✅ What we take

  • Documents, original deeds, data media
  • Parcels and cases that can be handled without lifting equipment
  • Flight cases, trunks, garment bags on hangers, jewellery boxes
  • Suitcases and luggage — up to six to eight pieces
  • Sealed insulated boxes supplied by the sender
  • Parts and cartons up to about 1.80 m long

❌ What belongs with a carrier

  • Full pallets and shrink-wrapped goods
  • Machines, engines, bulky furniture
  • Anything requiring a tail lift, pallet truck or forklift
  • Dangerous goods falling under ADR
  • House moves, even partial ones
  • Shipments requiring a goods transport licence

If your need falls outside this scope we tell you on the first call and point you to a suitable carrier. A taxi that costs you half a day is not doing you a favour.

An urgent delivery to arrange right now?

One call is enough to start the job. We drive 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, anywhere in France and Europe — no transfer of goods, no sorting hub, no deposit.
